The hydrogen sulfide scavenger ARBASCAV-3 is an innovative solution for applications in the oil and gas industry, designed to remove (neutralize) free hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans present in oils, liquid hydrocarbons, and residual fuels. It does not contain formaldehyde or triazines and offers several unique advantages.
Notably, it is completely safe for oil refining processes, as it does not lead to the formation of insoluble organosulfur deposits within the equipment of the Crude Distillation Unit. Additionally, it does not impact the alkalinity of petroleum products after treatment, thereby avoiding any increase in the pH of the water extract.
APPLICATION
- For oil treatment, the effective dosage is from 0.9 to 1.5 ppm ARBASCAV-3 per each 1.0 ppm of hydrogen sulfide, which should be scaved to.
- The dosage can be reduced by installing an effective spray nozzle at the reagent injection point.
- For dosing of the corrosion inhibitor, it is recommended to use block dosing units. When transferring inhibitors from supply containers, it is recommended to use oil- and petrol resistant hoses.
